Job Description
Inova Staffing is seeking a seasoned individual to lead our client's HVAC Mechanical Project Management team.This is a salaried direct hire position, $100,000-150,000Responsibilities:
- Crafting project plans, setting schedules, budgets, and resource distributions.
- Oversee/manage mechanical projects ranging from $1-5+ million
- Working closely with architectural, engineering, and contractor teams to ensure they have what they need to succeed.
- Identifying and solving project risks.
- Ensuring projects comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Communicating with clients, providing progress updates, and meeting their needs.
- HVAC Systems Knowledge: The candidate should have a deep understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. This includes knowledge of different types of HVAC equipment, such as boilers, chillers, air handling units, and ductwork.
- Design and Installation: Experience in designing HVAC systems and overseeing their installation is crucial. A candidate who has worked on designing HVAC layouts, selecting equipment, and ensuring installations meet codes and standards would be valuable.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills are essential for overseeing HVAC projects from conception to completion. This includes budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and managing subcontractors and vendors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to HVAC systems is important. The candidate should ensure that projects comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: HVAC projects can encounter various challenges, such as design issues, equipment failures, or unexpected delays. A quality candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address these issues effectively.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication is vital for coordinating with clients, team members, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate should be able to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- At least 10 years of experience in HVAC Mechanical Project Management.
