Job Description
Our client located in Cleveland is looking for an Office Manager! This is a direct hire on site position. Hours are M-F 8am-4pm.Responsibilities:Human Resources Functions:
- Recruitment: Collaborate with recruiters, review resumes, and coordinate interviews.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Smoothly onboard new hires and manage offboarding processes.
- Personnel Records: Maintain accurate records, including contracts, evaluations, and attendance.
- Performance Reviews: Assist in conducting performance reviews.
- IT Coordination: Work closely with our external IT department to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of office equipment, software licenses, and technology assets.
- Certification Renewals and Registrations: Monitor and renew relevant certifications
- Office Supplies: Ensure office supplies are stocked.
- Clerical Support: Assist the President and staff with administrative tasks.
- Company Communications: Create newsletters, announcements, and manage shared calendars and Teams meetings.
- Celebrations and Events: Organize celebrations, team-building activities, and acknowledge special occasions.
- Facility Maintenance: Coordinate with vendors for office and shop repairs.
- Holiday Planning: Deck the halls and plan festive events.
- Identify Inefficiencies: Regularly assess office processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Streamline Workflows: Collaborate with team members to enhance efficiency.
- Implement Best Practices: Research and implement best practices to optimize office operations.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from employees and propose process enhancements
- Collect Relevant Data: Gather data related to office operations, employee performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Create Reports: Generate regular reports summarizing key data points for management review.
- Agendas: Prepare meeting agendas, ensuring that topics are well-organized and relevant.
- Meeting Notes: Take detailed meeting notes during discussions and distribute them afterward.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain safety training records and emergency procedures.
- Five years or more of administrative management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or related field preferred
- Additional certification as an Administrative Officer or Secretary preferred
- Experience managing offices in transition preferred
- Organizational and Time-Management Skills
