PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE | 2ndInova Staffing is hiring Production Associates for a manufacturing facility in West Chicago, IL!Pay: $20.65/hour
 Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am
 Location: West Chicago, IL 60185
 Job DescriptionThe Production Associate is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible for supporting production, packaging, weighing, and material-handling operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
  • Obtain and review proper batch documentation. 
  • Verify and deliver correct ingredients and materials to the work area. 
  • Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to specifications. 
  • Set up and operate weighing and packaging machinery. 
  • Check equipment controls and follow all operating and safety procedures. 
  • Package, screen, cut, weigh, and prepare materials according to customer specifications. 
  • Supply Production Operators with necessary materials. 
  • Perform required machine and equipment cleaning. 
  • Complete and maintain production paperwork and documentation. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
  • Follow all company safety policies, work rules, and procedures. 
  • Report equipment issues, problems, or concerns to appropriate personnel. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Physical & Work Environment RequirementsCandidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. The position may require lifting and/or moving up to 55 lbs frequently and occasionally handling heavier materials with proper assistance or equipment.Employees may work around machinery, moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, vibration, and varying temperatures.
