Job Description

Process Technician – Plastic Injection MoldingAre you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and driven to solve problems in a hands-on environment? This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a production setting, enjoys improving manufacturing processes, and has the skills to keep machines and tools running smoothly.

This is a direct hire position on 3rd shift
Monday-Friday 10:30pm-7am
Pay based on experience, plus a $2 differentialWhat You’ll Do:
  • Adjust machine settings to improve cycle times and reduce scrap
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on production support equipment (e.g., automated loaders, robotic arms)
  • Maintain accurate process logs and communicate changes across shifts
  • Start up and shut down molding presses and coordinate handoff for operator assignment
  • Clean and maintain molds using tools like dry ice blasters and hand tools
  • Restore functionality and reprogram end-of-arm tooling and robotic systems as needed
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements
  • Serve as a backup to the shift supervisor when needed
What You Should Bring:
  • A strong safety mindset and the ability to follow safety protocols
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, torque wrenches, etc.)
  • Comfortable with basic computer skills and entering data into systems
  • Forklift and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to understand and perform tasks listed on a technical skills checklist
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or process technician role is highly preferred
This position is well-suited for someone with a mix of technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to be actively involved in keeping operations efficient and running at peak performance.
