Job Description

Inova Staffing is hiring a Bridgeport Operator to perform manual machining on tubing and hydraulic fittings. This is a hands-on role with repeated set ups, tight tolerance work, and collaboration with engineers to improve tooling and fixtures.
This is a first shift, direct hire position.
What You’ll Do:
  • Set up and operate a Bridgeport mill for repeated drilling and tapping on tubing.
  • Perform deburring, threading, lathe turning, and tooling rework as needed.
  • Hold tolerances to 0.03 while maintaining part quality.
  • Apply proper speeds and feeds across different materials.
  • Work with engineers on fixture/tool design improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5 years of Bridgeport/manual machining experience preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints from multiple vendors.
  • Comfortable with decimal/fraction conversions and metric/inch conversions.
  • Own and use tools such as calipers, edge finder, digital protractor, height gauge, and dial indicator.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Must follow all required safety practices.
