Job Description
CNC Mill Operator (1st Shift)
Direct Hire | Willoughby, OH
Inova is recruiting for a small, precision-focused machining shop looking to add a skilled CNC Mill Operator to their 1st shift team. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on experience operating CNC mills who is comfortable reading blueprints, inspecting their own parts, and making minor adjustments at the machine.
This is not a full independent setup role. Some setup exposure is helpful, but the primary need is a reliable, detail-oriented operator who can run parts accurately and consistently in a job shop environment.
Schedule
Monday through Thursday, 1st shift
Optional overtime available on Fridays
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines in a precision machining environment
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Inspect parts using standard measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Hold tolerances appropriate for job shop work
Make minor program edits and offsets as needed
Maintain part quality and follow shop procedures
Work closely with team members to keep jobs moving efficiently
Qualifications
Experience operating CNC mills
Ability to read blueprints and perform basic inspections
Comfortable making offsets and minor edits at the machine
Attention to detail and consistency
Prior job shop experience is a plus, but not required
