MIG Welder
About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding metal components to fabricate or repair products according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, hands-on experience with MIG welding, and a commitment to safety and quality.
All candidates should be prepared to take a welding test at the time of the interview.Compensation will be based on welding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding tasks
  • Select and operate MIG welding equipment based on job requirements
  • Cut and prepare materials using saws and grinders
  • Align and secure parts using measuring tools and clamps
  • Perform MIG welding in various positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)
  • Inspect welds and perform necessary repairs
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear

What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Skilled with MIG welding equipment and techniques
  • Proficient with hand and power tools (calipers, grinders, saws, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Strong understanding of metal properties and welding safety standards
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AWS MIG welding certification or completion of a technical program/apprentinceship is preferred
