Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Supervisor to lead our team of HVAC technicians and ensure the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC repair and maintenance, as well as experience in supervising a team of technicians. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
- Manage a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections to identify potential issues and develop preventative maintenance plans.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, including ohmmeters, to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams, including plumbing and electrical, to ensure seamless property maintenance.
- Develop and implement procedures for equipment repair, maintenance, and replacement.
- Manage inventory and ordering of parts and supplies.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate with customers as needed.
- Provide technical support to customers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Operate a company van to travel to job sites.
- Develop and maintain schematics for HVAC systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in HVAC technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC supervisor or lead technician.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with equipment repair and welding.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with property maintenance and management.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
