HardwareTechnician - Repair & Audit

  • Durham, NC
  • Full-Time & Temp-to-Hire
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:15 PM 
  • Pay: $16.50–$17.50 per hour

Inova Staffing is now accepting applications for Hardware Technicians to support repair and audit operations within a tech warehouse located in Durham, NC. This hands-on role involves testing, troubleshooting, and refurbishing a variety of electronics including laptops, tablets, desktops, and stereo/audio systems. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience with consumer electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and refurbish laptops, desktops, and other electronics
  • Replace components such as RAM, hard drives, and batteries
  • Navigate and configure BIOS settings as needed
  • Test and troubleshoot tablets, audio equipment, and specialty electronics
  • Perform detailed audits and quality checks to ensure functionality
  • Track inventory and document all work performed
  • Meet production quotas while maintaining accuracy and safety
  • Support additional warehouse tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with electronics repair or testing
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Experience with PCs, Macs, tablets, or gaming consoles is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and meet production goals
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the entire shift
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass background and drug screening
