Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Canton

We're looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to maintain and repair our industrial machinery. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in engine repair, hydraulic assembly, and related mechanical systems.

What We Offer:

  • 1st shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Conduct minor engine repairs, ie; changing oil and filters, gasket replacement, electrical repairs
  • Repairing fittings, changing lift cylinders on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, rock trucks, cable cranes
  • Repair/maintain hydraulic systems and fittings
  • Ensure all yard equipment meets safety standards and operational efficiency

Qualifications:
  • Preferred knowledge of diesel engines repair, engine repair skills, and or hydraulic assembly/repairs
  • Ability to learn and adapt as issues arise
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics preferred
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
