Job Description

Inova Staffing Services is looking for Cut Operators for a client of ours in Ashtabula, OH. The Cut Machine Operator will be responsible for operating to ensure materials are accurately cut according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
  

1st Shift: 2:30pm-11pm

Pay: $17.24/hr.




Job Requirements:


Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent. 

Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check. 
Must have prior experience
Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate cutting machines to cut raw materials (metal, plastic, fabric, wood, etc.) to required dimensions.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or production schedules.

  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

  • Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.

  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of cutting machines.

  • Handle and organize raw materials and finished products.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Complete production logs and maintain accurate records of output.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
