Job Description
Inova Staffing is searching for experience quality technicians for our client in Mentor, this client specializes in make custom plastic pieces. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing quality products, we want to meet you!
Shift: 3rd shift 11:30pm-8amPay: $18/hr
Job duties consist of but are not limited to:· Gathering samples from the machine and complete the inspection as detailed on the inspection procedure.· Do all assembly inspection and special testing· Seal inspected cartons and transfer all information available to the following shift inspectors andsupervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS· Requires minimum 3 months experience as a machine operator· Must follow all safety policies· Familiar with calipers, Micrometers and depth gauges is beneficial· Must have excellent attendance· Must have good communication skills and work well with others
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This is a physically demanding and safety-sensitive position, which requires employees to stand on their feet formost of an eight- (8) hour shift. To perform the essential functions of this job, employees must be able to meetthe following physical requirements.
· Employees must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop, reach and twist for most of an 8-hour shift intemperatures usually over 75 degrees F.· Frequent and repetitious use of a gate cutter and utility knife is required, which necessitates repetitiousgripping, squeezing and similar manipulation of tools.· Employees must be able to lift equipment and materials on a frequent and recurring basis up to 35 lbs.· Employees must have adequate vision ability to complete with a high degree and accurate detailedinspection of molded parts to meet strict quality control standards and customer specifications.
