Our client located in Cleveland, OH is looking for an Inventory Coordinator! Hours are M-F from 8am-4: 30pm. Optional half days on Saturday.

This is a direct hire!

Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the receipt, documentation, and storage of incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy through the inventory management system and staging inventory for daily production.

Responsibilities:
  • Comply with company safety, environmental and operational policies and procedures
  • Unload shipments from inbound trucks and package delivery services
  • Verify shipments are in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received. Provide essential documentation to Assistant Plant Manager
  • Store all parts in the appropriate warehouse area after they have been received
  • Pull inventory from the warehouse and stage it at designated plant locations for daily production requirements
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts

Work Environment:  The work environment is an indoor factory with occasional outdoor work to meet delivery/shipping vehicles and/or retrieve inventory from adjacent storage areas.

Physical Demands:  The position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and lifting for prolonged periods of time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Education, Experience and Key Competencies:
  • High school degree or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in inventory management/receiving in an industrial setting
  • Minimum of two years’ Forklift operation experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory management systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This position is subject to successfully completing and passing a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical examination.
