Inova Staffing is looking to hire an industrial machine mechanic for one of our clients in Painesville.
This is a direct hire position with great benefits and competitive pay.
Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Machine Repair Mechanic.
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment as needed to ensure smooth operation.
  • Implement and execute the Preventative Maintenance Schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Accurately report maintenance work performed, materials and parts used, and adhere to all relevant procedures, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs., and to perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms above and below shoulder level.
  • Working knowledge of machine operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs, particularly Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for the following: 24 VDC, 110, and 480/600 3-Phase VAC electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems
  • Ability to fabricate steel using a torch, welder, and associated tools.
  • Basic ability to read and interpret prints and schematics, including: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, & structural
