Job Description

Maintenance Technician
  • Location: Durham, NC
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Employment type: Temp-to-hire
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:45AM–3:15PM
  • Hourly rate: $18.00-$20.00
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute the overall functions of the warehouse facility
  • Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment such as forklifts and box trucks
  • Conduct brake changes, oil changes, motor repairs, etc.
  • Maintain records of any work and inspections on-premises
  • Keep repair tools and supplies clean and organized
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Reliable transportation
  • 1-3 years of previous experience with repairing box trucks, forklifts, and conveyors
  • 1-3 years of active experience in trade skills (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Ability to comprehend instructions
  • Must possess effective communication skills
  • Ability to climb, bend, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Background and drug screening required
