Inova Staffing is currently looking for a Material Handler for our client in Cleveland, OH.

Shift & Compensation:Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
 Pay Rate: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour (based on experience)

Job Purpose:The Production Material Handler ensures the efficient flow of raw materials and components within the manufacturing area. This role involves moving, staging, and organizing materials to support production schedules and maintain optimal inventory levels. The Production Material Handler works closely with the manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure that all materials are available when needed and that the production process runs smoothly. 
Essential Functions
  • Coordinates the components and raw materials flow for all manufacturing processes according to production schedules.
  • Maintains accurate records of material movements and inventory levels utilizing an ERP system and RF scanner.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of components and raw materials to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborates with the production team to ensure timely work orders and materials availability.
  • Computes and generates WIP (Work in Process) Work Orders and Device History Records for Cap Assembly.
  • Oversee the duties of the monthly Repack operation.
  • Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Assists in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Performs a regular inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels for order replenishment and investigate and report discrepancies.
