Our client located in New Waterford, OH is searching for an NDT Technician! This is a direct hire! Relocation allowance is available!
Pay: Compensation is based on certification level, experience, and demonstrated competency.
Level ll (non-ASNT, company-certified): $28-35 hr
Level ll (ASNT-Certified): $30-40hr
Level lll (ASNT-Certified): $40-47hr
Work Schedule: 40-50 hr/week, Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays & night shift with differential pay)
Location: Based in Columbiana County, OH - home every night
Travel Requirements: Minimal (mostly local)

Job Description: We are looking to hire someone who holds a Level ll certification in RT (Radiographic Testing) and MT (Magnetic Particle Testing).
Job Duties:
Perform inspection activity (RT, MT) on site and at field locations, ensuring compliance with applicable Codes/Standards and following necessary safety protocols.
Operate and utilize Computed Radiography (CR) systems
lnterpret results and deliver clear digital reports to customers
Set up and calibrate radiographic equipment
Practice and promote strict radiation safety protocols
Maintain all related safety documentation
Support team culture and lead by example
Must be physically able to walk/climb through piping and lift up to 50 pounds
Must have a Driver's License with a clean record
Must be able to pass a Pre-employment/random drug and alcohol screenings and FBI/BCI background check
Education/Technical Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of relevant NDT experience
40-hour radiation safety training
IRRSP/State Radiographer Card Holder
Currently hold a Level ll in RT and MT in accordance with SNT-TC-IA or have required experience and training hours (with proof) to obtain certification
Experience in Computed Radiography (CR)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, Office, etc')
Good grammar, spelling, and penmanship
Beneficial Attributes:
Technical Degree
Experience as a Radiation Safety Officer
Level ll in Penetrant Testing (PT)
Level ll in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
NAS-410 Level ll RT/MT Certification
ASNT Level Certificate in Nondestructive Testing (any or all methods)
