Press Brake OperatorLocation: Willoughby, OH
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $18+/hr, based on experience
Schedule: 4-day workweek with overtime opportunities on FridaysPosition OverviewInova Staffing is seeking a Press Brake Operator for our client in Willoughby. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and be comfortable working with CNC and mechanical press brakes, tooling, and precision measuring equipment.
Must have prior experience operating CNC press brakeResponsibilities
  • Setup and operation of CNC and mechanical press brakes
  • Produce carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts according to customer drawings and specifications
  • Read customer drawings and understand measurements and tolerances
  • Use measuring tools and gauges to inspect finished parts
  • Monitor parts for quality and report any discrepancies or machine/tooling issues
  • Record production time, quantities, scrap, and materials used
  • Perform light machine and tooling maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have prior experience operating CNC press brake
  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings and measurements
  • Experience using measuring tools and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work around moving machinery
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands for handling and operating equipment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery and elevated noise levels
