Job Description

Inova Staffing is seeking a motivated Senior Quality Control Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a long-standing manufacturer of cold-headed fasteners. This company supplies components used in a wide range of industries including automotive, trucking, agriculture, material handling, recreation, and sports equipment.The ideal candidate will bring a mix of hands-on inspection experience, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of quality documentation requirements. This is a first shift, full-time, direct hire role offering stability and the chance to be part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver ISIR and PPAP documentation to customers
  • Keep the lab organized and inspection-ready
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers as needed while managing supplier certifications
  • Enter and maintain data in the ERP system in real time
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and receiving inspections
  • Generate and distribute customer Certificates of Conformance (C of C)
  • Support production by helping reduce errors and ensuring compliance
  • Take on additional quality-related duties as required

Desired Skills & Background
  • Prior quality control experience, ideally within bolt or fastener manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient with inspection and testing tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, thread rings, etc)
  • Familiarity with ISIR, PPAP, and ISO 9001
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and entering data into ERP systems
  • Team-oriented with clear communication skills
  • Organized, detail-focused, and willing to continue learning new quality/lean methods
