Job Description
Inova Staffing is searching for multiple Production Associates at a rubber manufacturing plant in the Akron area.
***1st and 2nd shift are currently available, with the hours being 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, Mon-Fri plus occasional overtime***
Job Duties:
- Prepare raw materials for mixing
- Monitor machinery and product
- Clean machinery and work area as needed
- Stack, sort, lift, and package products
- Cut rubber slabs into specified dimensions for customer orders
- Inspect product to ensure quality is up to company standard
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time in designated production area
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on frequent basis
- Must pass math assessment
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- Longevity from previous positions***
- Prior rubber compounding experience is highly preferred!
