Inova Staffing Services is hiring a Saw & Shear Technician for our TOP client, in Streetsboro, OH! This company manufactures forged steel products for multiple industries and offers excellent long-term opportunities and benefits after hire-in.
Job Details
  • Shift: 2nd Shift (2:45pm– 11 PM)
  • Pay: $17.50/hr
  • Type: Temp-to-hire
  • Weekly Pay + long-term career growth
What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate saws and shears to cut metal to precise specifications
  • Work with steel materials and ensure accuracy of cuts and part quality
  • Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment
  • Assist with loading/unloading material in the steel yard
  • Follow safety and quality procedures while keeping your area clean and organized
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience required
  • Experience working in a steel yard or with metal cutting machinery preferred
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Trade school or technical school graduates encouraged to apply — great opportunity to build experience in metal manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Team-oriented attitude and reliable work ethic
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug screen and background check
