Job Description

Iron Mountain is hiring a Warehouse Shred Operator for our Dawsonville facility. This role focuses on the secure destruction of computer devices and electronic equipment within a warehouse setting. The position involves operating shredding machinery, using a forklift to move materials, and working in a hands-on, dusty environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate shredding equipment to destroy computer devices, hard drives, and other electronics
  • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
  • Perform basic maintenance checks and inspections on shredding and material handling equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times
  • Follow proper handling procedures for electronic waste and confidential equipment
  • Assist with other general warehouse and recycling duties as needed
Job Details:Shift: 1st (8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri)
Pay: 16.50/hr
Overtime as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous shred, e-waste, or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Forklift Experience
  • Candidate must have reliable transportation.
  • Candidate needs to be able to regularly lift 50lbs
  • Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment urine drug screen & background check
  • Must be comfortable standing for your whole shift and working in a fast paced environment.
