Job Details

• Shift: 1st Shift (6: 45am-3pm), 2nd Shift (2: 45pm-11pm) 3rd Shift (10: 45 PM – 7: 00 AM)
• Pay: $17.50/hr - $19.50/hr
• Type: Temp-to-hire
• Weekly Pay + long-term career growth

What You’ ll Do

• Set up and operate saws and shears to cut metal to precise specifications
• Work with steel materials and ensure accuracy of cuts and part quality
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment
• Assist with loading/unloading material in the steel yard
• Follow safety and quality procedures while keeping your area clean and organized

What We’ re Looking For

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience required
• Experience working in a steel yard or with metal cutting machinery preferred
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
• Trade school or technical school graduates encouraged to apply — great opportunity to build experience in metal manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Team-oriented attitude and reliable work ethic
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug screen and background check

The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored welding processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Measure, cut, and fit metal pieces prior to welding
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality
• Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and OSHA guidelines
• Repair or rework defective welds as needed
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous welding experience required (level dependent on position)
• Knowledge of welding symbols and techniques
• Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Welding certifications are a plus (AWS, etc.)

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing, fabrication, or construction setting
• Exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noise
• Use of protective gear required at all times

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Shift may vary (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift depending on operation)

This role oversees production, safety, training, and process improvement while stepping in to weld or fabricate when needed.This is a direct hire role.Responsibilities

• Direct and organize welding staff to meet production goals
• Maintain safety standards, clean work areas, and proper equipment use
• Support Lean practices and continuous improvement efforts
• Train and coach welders to improve quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and assist with TIG welding and fabrication
• Communicate policies, evaluate performance, and handle documentation
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED
• Strong TIG welding experience with various alloys
• 4– 6 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing welding environment
• Robotics exposure preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use MS Office
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs
• On-site role with required PPE
